Southeastern Gymnastics Policies
- Tuition — Tuition is due on the 1st day of each month and is based on a 40 class schedule. August and June tuition are both one half of the monthly tuition for the class selected. Please submit payments the last week of each month to ensure your check is received by the 1st. If the accounting office receives your check after the 1st, a $15 late fee will automatically be applied to your account. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover as well as automatic draft payments.
- Registration Fee — A $55 registration fee will be collected for each student registered during the School Year Session (August — June).
- Discounts — A discount of $5 / month may be taken for a child's second class and/or a sibling's class — or — a $55 discount off an entire session payment due August 24, 2009.
- Withdrawal — In order to notify the gym of withdrawal and to cease responsibility for payment, a twoweek written notice is required to withdraw from a class. Team withdrawal requires a four—week written notice. The student's account must be settled at the time of withdrawal. The registration fee will not be refunded, nor will partial month tuition.
- Trial Class: A trial class may be taken for a charge of $20.00.
- Make—up Lessons — Students are encouraged to attend all classes. Make—up classes may be arranged in cases of illness of family emergency only. These arrangements must be made with the receptionist in order to manage class size.
- Inclement Weather— We will follow Union County School closures. With school delayed start times, classes will be held as regularly scheduled. Please note that we do not follow Union County workday closings. Call 704—847—0785 for pertinent information.
- Gym Rules — Please try to be prompt for your class. Allow time for your child to dress, use the restroom and properly prepare for the class. No gum or food is allowed on the gym floor. All siblings must be well supervised. Only siblings who are registered in class are allowed on the gym floor.
- Attire — Hair must be secured in a ponytail and/or away from face. Please no loose clothing or jewelry. Stud earrings may be worn.
- No Pets — Pets are not allowed in the gym and/or left tied up outside.
- Campus Safety — Please do not park in front of the gym or leave your car running. Extreme caution must be used while driving on campus grounds.
- Conferences — If you have any questions or concerns about your child's gymnastics experience, please arrange conferences with our receptionist. A coach will be glad to call you to discuss your child's progress.
- Holidays — Classes will not be held on the following days: Sept 7th, Nov. 25—29, Dec. 23, 2009 — Jan. 1, 2010 and May 31st, 2010.
- Preschool Gym — We ask that the parents of Tots & Tykes stay for the duration of their child's class. Theparents of Tiger Cubs are reminded of SGC's new Observation Day policy. Observation Day will be held on the last class of each month; viewing will be limited during the other three classes to minimize distractions.
