Southeastern Cheer Policies

  • Tuition – Tuition is due the 1st day of each month. Please submit payments the last week of each month to ensure your check is received by the 1st. If the accounting office receives your check after the 1st, a $15 late fee will automatically be applied to your account. We offer the following payment methods: check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and automatic draft.

  • Discounts – A discount of $5 / month may be taken for a child’s second class and/or a sibling’s class.

  • Withdrawal – In order to withdraw and to cease responsibility for payment, a two-week written notice is required to withdraw from a class. The student’s account must be settled at the time of withdrawal. The registration fee will not be refunded.

  • Registration Fee – A $50 registration fee will be collected for each child registered during the School Year Session period (August – June). There is no registration fee for the Summer Session or camps.

  • Attire – T-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, hair pulled back securely. Minimal jewelry.

  • Make-Up Lessons – Students are encouraged to attend all classes. Make-up classes may be arranged in cases of illness or family emergency only. These arrangements must be made with the gym office in order to manage class size.

  • Inclement Weather – The gym will close only when Union County Schools are closed due to inclement weather. If there is a delayed start time, the gym will hold classes as regularly scheduled. Please check our phone message for further information.

  • Class Rules – Please try to be prompt for your class so that all participants may enjoy the full class. When a student arrives late or has to be excused for the restroom, it disrupts the class for the other students. We ask that you please arrive early so that your child has the opportunity to get dressed and use the restroom before class begins. It is also important that children with longer hair pull their hair back with a pony tail holder. This is for their safety while working on gymnastics equipment. No gum or food is allowed on the gym floor at any time. All siblings must be well supervised.

  • No Pets – Pets are not allowed in the gym or to be tied to the outside staircase.

  • Campus Safety – Please do not park in front of the gym or leave your car running while walking your child into class. It is for the safety of all customers that we keep the fire lane free of cars and access to the building clear in the event of an emergency.

  • Conferences – If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s experience, please arrange conferences with your instructor through Arlene. A coach will be glad to call you to discuss your child’s progress.
